“Take your candle and go light your world.”

Staying inspired and always pushing forward, how do people do it?  Its always a challenge and I’m thankful for ALL of the wonderful people in my life who keep me going everyday.  We are all here together to help one another continue forward with enthusiasm and vigor.  Through trials and success, the world keeps going round and round.  The little things we do from day to day don’t seem so important until we get that little piece of feedback from a friend, colleague or student….thank you all!

I’ve been spending a considerable amount of time writing new tunes with Eric Moon.  This is my first co-writing experience and its been incredible!  We are so excited to debut some of our new tunes at Oskar Blues in two weeks.  We hope you’ll come out an enjoy the show on December 16th.

Yaniv and I have been looking forward to our duo photo shoots, video shoots and shows.  We always look forward to playing the Mountain Grind.  It’s one of my favorite gigs every year.  Its a cute, warm coffee shop in Cooper Creek  in Winter Park.  This is a great listening room and this year they are offering a dinner option.  Come join us! We’ll be doing a tour in April as we prepare to teach at the Julian Strings Camp in California.  Look for us in cities near you!  Stay tuned!

My Fiddle Parlor students had some very successful jam sessions and performances.  I’m so excited how many kids are getting rolling on the guitar.  We’ll have some all kid jam sessions before you know it!  I can’t wait.  I’m so inspired by the amount of practice my kids and adults have put in this year.  Their dedication is amazing.  I’m blessed to say that I LOVE my job and the rewards it brings.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy preparing for the holidays and I hope that you all get a chance to go within and find your personal balance going into the new year.
