{"id":388,"date":"2012-10-11T10:57:27","date_gmt":"2012-10-11T16:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/katieglassman.com\/?p=388"},"modified":"2012-10-11T10:57:27","modified_gmt":"2012-10-11T16:57:27","slug":"fall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/katieglassman.com\/fall\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Saturday, October 13th\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11:00 am &#8211; 2:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Yaniv and Katie Duo playing the Fall Fest at the Two Mile Ranch Market on Orchard Road and University Blved.\u00a0 FREE!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the summer officially wrapped up, I&#8217;m having to admit that it is actually fall.\u00a0 I had a great summer promoting the now half new album &#8220;SNAPSHOT.&#8221;\u00a0 Charlie Mertens, Yaniv Salzberg, Eric Moon and Brian McRae were great musical support.\u00a0 Some of the gigs that stuck out for me were New West Fest, Carbon Valley Festival, Sherbino Theater, Ridgeway Concert series, Blue Star Festival (benefiting children with cancer), Monatan Fiddle Camp, Midsummer Days String camp, Lannie&#8217;s Clocktower and ofcourse,\u00a0 Steve&#8217;s Guitars, Swallow Hill Hot Club of Cowtown show and the Dazzle CD release was loads of fun, there were many more, but alas, there will be more blogs.\u00a0 We also played several radio shows KGNU and KRFC were among them.\u00a0 The National Oldtime Fiddlers Festival steals my heart every year.\u00a0 Late night jams, seeing old friends and this year I had several students compete.\u00a0 I placed 3rd in the Grand Champion Division this year.\u00a0 What a whirlwind summer!<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s next?\u00a0 Hybernating&#8230;.I&#8217;m working on new tunes to hopefully go into the studio with in the spring.\u00a0 I hope to do some co-writing with Eric Moon and Yaniv Salzberg.\u00a0 Stay tuned for my black tie SPEAKEASY concert series this winter.\u00a0 Not only will it be a treat for me, but a surprise for you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday, October 13th\u00a0 11:00 am &#8211; 2:00 pm Yaniv and Katie Duo playing the Fall Fest at the Two Mile Ranch Market on Orchard Road and University Blved.\u00a0 FREE!
