She teaches fiddling as a basis for historical study, technique, improvisation, theory, rhythm, preservation, repertoire (Texas fiddle, western swing, swing, jazz, oldtime etc.) and purely the joy of playing music.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Katie is consistently joyful to work with and her love for the fiddle is contagious!
